  • Barry Allen Helfer US Navy Veteran 3 April 2014

On behalf of my mom and my family, I would like to thanks everyone who attended my Dad’s memorial and funeral on April 3, 2014. To all his Patriot Guard Rider and Washington Crossing Honor Guard brothers, I thank you for making it as special as it was and showing us how much he meant to so many people. Dad was part of a lot of things and I don’t think he realized just how many people he impacted. For all the times he was there for others in times such as these it was truly remarkable to see so many return the support. No words can express what it meant to have all of you there and please continue to do what you do. It meant something special to see firsthand what you guys do and how it makes the families you are supporting feel. I also wanted to thank the various police departments who aided in our procession to the cemetery. Love you all !!!

  • Pennsburg Military Transitional House / Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, 22 March 2014

It is with extreme sincerity that I write to thank you and your team for your support on the VFV Ribbon Cutting this Saturday. Their presence, and the “flags in force” were the perfect addition to the tone and culture of our event. Please pass along my sincere appreciation to all whom attended from your team, and please let me know if there is anyway that we may ever return the favor?

    Sincerely and respectfully,

    Jake Leone

  • Captain Sean Ruane Mission 23 – 25 January 2014

Message from Jessica & Tom Copeland for the Copeland Funeral Home in Moon Township, PA.

I was proud of the respect and honor shown by all toward Capt. Sean Ruane and his family. It was so powerful and very humbling. Our freedom, our country, our veterans. The Patriot Guard became part of our family this week. All of us working together along with our communities, we were able to do something very memorable, honorable and touching. I think our family felt loved, cared for and protected.

    Thank you.

    Respectfully,

    Jessica and Tom
