  • THANK YOU LETTER REGION 5 MISSION 2/4 – 2/5 2016
  • THANK YOU REGION 5
Mr. Afflerbach and the Patriot Guard Riders,

I want to thank you all for the incredible support and dedication you demonstrated during the memorial service of Special Agent Peter Taub on 8 January 2016; you did not go unnoticed. I can’t find the words to describe how much that meant, not only to me, but to all the men and women in attendance. You are our silent heroes and I, for one, am proud to have stood next to you on this very sad day. I commend you all for what you do for our military members and their families. Again, thank you so much and God speed.

    Sincerely

    Karen Beirne-Flint

  • THANK YOU FROM THE TEATER FAMILY – ALLENTOWN

Thank you to the Patriot Guard Riders who honored my father’s service by standing in the frigid temperatures outside the funeral home and in the cemetery.  The service was for Donald Teator in Allentown last Friday, Jan. 22, 2016.
All I could say was “thank you” as I walked by them, but I want them to know how much their presence meant to us.  I know my dad LOVED having this military honor.
    God bless,
    The Teator-Mikus Family

  • THANK YOU LETTER BRUNNER MISSION 11/17/2015 / RIDE CAPTAIN DALE MCGINNIS
I hope you can pass this note of thanks along to the RC for yesterdays Roger Brunner Mission. I know Roger’s niece  through my son, Nicholas.  Nick was USCG and  PGR and ready  to deploy to Afghanistan when his life was taken by a distracted? aggressive?  driver.  She came over on him an took his life on Oct.25, 2013. He is now a PGR Guardian Angel. Roger’s niece Ashley and her husband Nate have been a great and constant source of support.
Her husband is stationed in Lake Charles LA and she was distressed that she could not be there to honor her very special uncle. When I found out he was a Marine Veteran, I suggested PGR.  You all took it from there.  I am so proud of my PA PGR brothers and sisters.  Rogers family was overwhelmed with the honor and respect.
I send my thanks to you all- I know weekday missions can be hard to find enough people but you pulled through.  My husband and I have been PGR since July 2006.  I am a back seat passenger when we ride and a cager carrying flags when he can’t get off from work.  Our roots are in southwestern PA.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
