  • THANK YOU FROM FAMILY OF GEORGE YORTY JR, IGNC 4 NOVEMBER

To the awesome members of the Patriot Guard who were present for my Uncle’s funeral in Pine Grove this past Friday, November 4TH.
My family and myself want to thank you so much for your presence and honorable duties while at the funeral home and later for the precession and internment at FTIG cemetery in Annville. Your presence was greatly appreciated and was very impressive. Standing outside with the flags at the entrance and at the cemetery as well was quite a site to behold. My Uncle was a Vietnam Veteran with the USMC and purple heart recipient among other decorations. I know he was looking over us and seeing you guys along with the CVMA guys was very honorable and immensely appreciated by his family and friends in attendance.

Thank you so much for your attendance and dedication to duty.

  • THANK YOU LETTER DONALD ISHMAN MISSION CYCLONE PA 28 JULY

    Letter from the family

I wasn’t sure who to send this to, hopefully you can pass this along…

My name is Travis Martin and I am the nephew of Donald Ishman. My Uncle Donny passed away last Saturday in the line of duty; he was a 43 year member of the Hilltop Volunteer Fire Department, Station 7, in Cyclone, PA.

We received a call this past Tuesday from a very nice woman who explained what the Patriot Guard is, what you do, and asked for permission to ride in our procession. We graciously accepted.

On behalf of my family, I wanted to say thank you to everyone involved from the bottom of our hearts. It was truly amazing that you would reach out to us in our time of need, and we were honored to have you ride in our procession. From the guard standing with the flag outside of the funeral home, to the almost 20 mile ride to the cemetery with fire engines from across the county, you helped make my uncle’s funeral a very special and honorable occasion. Again, thank you to everyone.

    Sincerely,

    Travis Martin “

Well done all, you do make a difference standing the line.

    Doc
