The family of Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran George C. “Butch” Yorty, Jr. has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his funeral service and interment ceremony Friday, November 4. Butch was a Sergeant in the Marines and was awarded the Purple Heart during his service. He was a member of the Pine Grove VFW Post 3432.
Following the funeral service in Pine Grove, the PGR will escort Bruce and his family to IGNC for interment with full military honors. George Yorty, Jr. was a patriot who served his country with honor. Now it is our turn to stand to honor him.

Note: For riders coming to the mission from south of Pine Grove: Rt. 81 has construction and delays are expected. Rt. 443 is a better alternate route.
