The family of William G. Patterson has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders stand in silent honor at his funeral service and then escort him to his final resting place. Mr. Patterson served his country honorably during World War II reaching the rank of Sergeant in General Patton’s 3rd Army. He received the Bronze Star for Valor with oak leaf clusters.
