The Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania have been invited by the family of William Carl Hartley, a U.S. Army veteran, to stand in silent honor for his service then escort to the cemetery for the interment.

William enlisted in the U.S. Army October of 1966, having served in theatre during Vietnam then transferred to the U.S. Army Reserves and was honorably discharged, with the rank of Specialist October of 1972.

Decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/ one Overseas Bar and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Following time served, William assisted in the founding and build of 5 Town Ambulance Service now named Rostraver-West Newton Emergency Services and was a member of American Legion Post #801 in Roscoe.

William served our country and his community with honor, it’s now our turn to stand in honor for him.

Escort will be provided by American Legion Post #801 and the Patriot Guard Riders.

Upon Arrival, Flag Line set for interment

 

Military rites will be accorded by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and American Legion Post#801 Roscoe.

 

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.

Also, before heading out please watch the weather, dress accordingly, bring your 3 X 5 handheld American flags and grab your masks.
