The family of Vietnam War Army Veteran William A. Shafer III, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his viewing, Thursday, February 4, and his funeral and interment ceremony Friday, February 5. Bill served in the Army Combat Engineers during Vietnam. Bill was an avid motorcyclist and a member of both National H.O.G. and the Deer Lake H.O.G. Chapter. William Shafer, III, is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
