The family of Air Force Vietnam War Veteran Vasco Slayton, Jr. has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation during his funeral and interment ceremony Wednesday, November 30. Following the funeral service, the PGR will escort Vasco to the Washington Crossing National Cemetery for interment with full military honors. Vasco’s son Frank, an Iraqi War Veteran, has asked us to be there for his father. Vasco Slayton, Jr. is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
