U.S. Army Sergeant Gena Tilstra served six years and did tours in Iraq, Korea and Germany. While serving as Military Policy in a security detail in 2003, Tilstra’s unit came under attack: IED explosions and a firefight ensued, during which she sustained severe knee and back injuries that required multiple surgeries.
Gena has a 2 year old daughter.
Bank of America has partnered with USA Homeownership DBA Veteran Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) to donate a 100% mortgage free home to this deserving military service member and her family.
The Patriot Guard Riders will provide Sgt Gena Tilstra an escort to her residence. We will then set a flag line for her to enter her new home.
