Indiantown Gap National Cemetery
The staff of Indiantown Gap National Cemetery has informed the Patriot Guard Riders that two unaccompanied veterans will be laid to rest.
Sgt Wayne Lee Jones USAF, and AQBAN Claude H. Meek both served their country honorably during the Vietnam War and will be interred with full military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, on Tuesday, December 26th at 1330 and 1400 Hrs.
Wayne served in the 1640th Supply Squadron, Military Airlift Command.
Claude served as an Aviation Fire Control Technician. Claude will be interred along with his wife, Dorothy L. Pierson-Meek
We will be there to ensure that Wayne and Claude get the honor they deserve as they go to their final rest.
Sgt Wayne Lee Jones and Fire Control Tech, Claude H. Meek are true patriots that served this country honorably. Now it is our turn to stand and honor them.
