The family of Korean War Navy Veteran Thomas S. Schmoyer has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his interment ceremony, Saturday, October 29. Tom served in the Seabees during the Korean War. Tom will be laid to rest with his beloved wife who recently passed. Thomas Schmoyer is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
INTERMENT CEREMONY: Saturday, 10/29 @ 1000 HRS
Northwood Cemetery
Harrison Street
Emmaus, PA 18049
Map: https://goo.gl/maps/PTesE5Ni5A52
Staging: 0930 HRS
The Northwood Cemetery occupies a city block. The main entrance is on Harrison Street, however that street is heavily travelled and does not provide as much room for staging. We will use either Keystone St. or 1st Street to stage. The Ride Captain will make a determination Saturday morning, and will have his flags out to signal our members where to stage.
