The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Thomas Jonathan Meyer, U.S. Air Force, to stand in silent honor for his service.
Thomas proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam from June of 1964 to June of 1970.
Decorations include the Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Thomas was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant.
Following time served, Thomas became a lifetime member and Chaplain of American Legion Post #747 in Zelienople.
Thomas served our country and his community with honor, it’s now our turn to honor him.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.
Before heading out please watch the weather, dress accordingly, bring your 3×5 hand held American flags and have your masks available. Also once on the road, be aware and alert of your surroundings.
