The family of USAF Staff Sgt Peter W Taub have requested the Patriot Guard Riders provide escort for this Hero from Dover AFB to the FH in Easton, PA and stand to honor his service to our nation. Staff Sgt Taub was one of six airmen who died 21 December of wounds suffered when their patrol was attacked by a suicide bomber on a motorcycle near Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. He was part of a joint NATO-Afghan patrol supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. Staff Sgt Taub was assigned to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Detachment 816, Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. Staff Sgt Taub is a patriot and a Hero who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to honor him.
