The family of USAF SSgt Peter W Taub have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand to his service to our nation at his funeral service in Easton, PA, Friday, January 8. SSgt Taub was one of six airmen who died 21 December of wounds suffered when their patrol was attacked by a suicide bomber on a motorcycle near Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. He was part of a joint NATO-Afghan patrol supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. SSgt Taub was assigned to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Detachment 816, Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. The PGR was proud to escort SSgt Taub home from Dover AFB Monday. SSgt Taub is a patriot and a Hero who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to honor him.
