The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand in honor of U S. Army Vietnam Veteran, SSgt John Phillip Washburn. We will stand in honor of Johns service to this nation on Saturday, May 28th, 2022.
John proudly served in the United States Army in Germany and Vietnam.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Allentown, Pa, the American Legion, and a volunteer at the VA outreach center in Coatesville, Pa.
For his service John received the Good Conduct Medal, the 2D Class Gunner Expert (M50MG), Marksman (.45 Caliber), Expert (M14) The Vietnam Service Medal and the Combat Infantryman Badge
SSgt John Phillip Washburn stood proudly and honorably to serve his country. Now it is our turn to stand and honor him.
