The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked by the family of SP5 James Anthony Chesney, U.S. Army, to stand and honor his service to our country. James served in the United States Army from 1961 through 1964 as an Aviation electrical repairman during the Vietnam War. He received the Good Conduct medal and the M1 Sharpshooter Badge. After college, Jim entered the computer industry in the mid 1960’s where he worked for RCA, Sperry-Univac, and then Unisys. James was an active volunteer for Vet 21 Salute Honor Guard. We will stand to honor James service to our nation at his committal procession at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. SP5 James Anthony Chesney is a true patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.

Due to current restrictions The Patriot Guard is asked not to attend the committal ceremony.
We will stand in a flag line along the roadway and show honors to the Veteran as the procession heads to the committal site

NOTE: Concealed carry permits are NOT recognized on military installations and federal reservations. Do not bring weapons or hazardous materials to this mission.
