The family of US Army Vietnam Veteran, Command Center Specialist Edwin W. Howe Jr. has requested that we stand and honor his service to our nation at his visitation and funeral service. After finishing basic training at Ft. Dix, Edwin served honorably in the US Army During the Vietnam War where he received the Cross of Gallantry with Palm, He also received the Vietnam Service Medal, The Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Bar, following his service, he attended the Pennsylvania Police Academy. Edwin served as a canine officer with the Doylestown Borough Police Dept. from 1973 until he retired in 2001. After his service we will escort SP4 Edwin J. Howe to his final rest at Washington Crossing National Cemetery as we stand in silent honor of his service to this Nation. SP4 Edwin W. Howe Jr is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
