The family of Vietnam War Army Veteran and PGR Ride Captain Sidney S. Alpaugh, III, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to honor his service to our nation with an escort ride to a memorial service Sunday, June 28. Sid was a Specialist 5 Combat Medic who served at Walter Reed Hospital in 1969 – 1970. Sid was also a long time PGR and served as a Ride Captain with Region 3 of the Pennsylvania PGR. We have lost a brother; Sid Alpaugh is a patriot who served our country with honor and who stood flag line to honor others. Now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
