The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Retired Police Chief Roger James Sager, to stand in silent honor for his service then escort to the cemetery.

Roger worked at the Bradford City Police Department from 1970 to 2010 and served as Chief of Police for eight years. In addition to this, Roger held the ranks of Patrolman, Sergeant, Shift Supervisor, Lieutenant and Officer in charge of training.

Roger was also a trained Firearms Instructor and certified NRA Instructor for subjects that included Personal Protection and the Refuse To Be A Victim course.

After retiring from Bradford City Police Department, Roger worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the McKean County Sheriff’s Office for eight years.

Roger served his community with honor, it’s now our turn to honor him.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.

Also, masks are no longer required for those fully vaccinated. If not fully vaccinated, you are required to wear a mask while social distancing.

Before heading out please watch the weather, dress accordingly and bring your 3 X 5 hand held American flags.
