The family of US Army Veteran, Corporal Lewis Dewitt Davis has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his funeral service, Saturday June 1st at Valley View Memorial Park. Lewis served as a Cpl. in Belgium during the war. After returning home he received an associate degree in labor management and a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts. He spent his career working as a culinary arts teacher, executive chef, food editor for the Arlene Francis show as well as extensive traveling to give cooking classes for Ethan Allen Corp. Lewis was a member of Sons of the American Revolution; Sons & Daughters of Pilgrims Society; Baronial Order of the Magna Carter; Society of Americans of Royal Descent; Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Mass.; Order of Crown of Charlemagne; the Scranton Club; and the Century Club. Cpl. Lewis Dewitt Davis is a true patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
