The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to honor Sgt. Lloyd Donald Yingling, at his remembrance ceremony and committal, for his service to our country.
Lloyd D. Yingling proudly served his country during World War II in the US Army Air Corps. He was based in Kansas and trained as a Waist Gunner on B-17’s. He later trained on B-29’s as a Ground Crewman and flew on 15 of their 16 missions out of Guam on bombing raids over Tokyo, serving with the 315th Bomb Wing. He received the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, The American Service Medal, The Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal He was a life member of the Harold H. Bair American Legion Post #14
A Viewing will be held at Panebaker Funeral Home from 1000Hrs. to 1100Hrs. Followed by an escort to his committal at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hanover
Sgt. Lloyd Donald Yingling is a true American Patriot that has served this nation with honor. Now it’s our turn to honor him
