The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Rodney “SENIOR” Estep US Army to Stand In Silent Honor for their American Hero during the Visitation and Service.
After time served, Senior continued Giving Back as an Emergency Medical Services worker for the Hollidaysburg Ambulance Service. Senior was also was a lifetime member of the Phoenix Volunteer Fire Department and Geeseytown Volunteer Fire Department.
A Funeral Service will follow, with Military Honors performed by the Blair County Honor Guard.
Below are Senior’s final requests to his friends:
“Unfortunately, I did not make my goal to live until 75. I left this world at the age of 60, in the arms of my loving wife. Don’t fret over me as I have known love and life well beyond my years, surrounded by my amazing family.
My last request is that each of my friends and family join my loved ones at a memorial service at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
Please do not tell my family you are sorry for the loss of me. Rather, tell them why you are happy to have known me.
I’ll see you later. Love always, Senior.”
Staging: 11:45 AM
Members can attend all of a Mission or any part of the Mission. PGR sets no time for a member to Stand a Mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our Heroes appreciate your time.
