The family of Retired Army Reserve 1st SGT Richard L. Truax has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his funeral service Sunday, April 26. Dick served in the USAF from 1952 to 1956. He then joined the National Guard, and retired as a 1st SGT in the Army Reserve after serving his country for 36 years. Dick was a motorcyclist and rode with the PGR. 1st SGT Richard Truax is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.

Mission was completed 26 April 2015 At 1800 hrs. In attendance was Vetrep.east and 4 PG Riders. Was informed by Funeral Home that the plaque was received by them 27 April 2015. I will deliver it to the widow ASAP.
