The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Raymond C. Noakes, U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves veteran, to stand in silent honor for his service then escort to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies for the interment.
Raymond served in the U.S. Army February of 1966, having served in theatre during Vietnam then transferred to the U.S. Army Reserves September of 1968 with last duty assignment, Company C 2nd Battalion 5th Cavalry 1st Cavalry Division and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant February of 1972.
Decorations include the Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Raymond served our country with honor, it’s now our turn to honor him.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.
Remember that the National Cemetery is a Federal Reservation and NO WEAPONS are permitted. Also grab your masks, they need to be worn while social distancing during the service and interment and once indoors.
Also before heading out, please watch the weather, dress accordingly and bring your 3 X 5 handheld American flags.
