Anyone receiving Thank You Letters may forward them to us for posting.

  • Letter of Appreciation – James F Myers, USN Mission

    Hi Randy,

I want to thank you and the other members of the Patriot Guard for what you did at my father’s visitations and funeral. It was a touching tribute and I won’t forget it. Thanks also for doing the same to honor other veterans.

  • Sincerest Words of Gratitude to the Patriot Guard Riders Organization- Michael Pristas

I would like to take a minute to offer our sincerest words of gratitude to the Patriot Guard Riders Organization. A heartfelt thank you to the riders whom, on short notice and on a drizzly day lined up to help us show the reverence and honor Michael Pristas (my father-in-law) deserved. Family and Patriotism were unequivocally the two most important things in Michael’s life. Thank you for helping us to do the best we could to make them the two most important things in honoring him in his passing. As an American Legion Rider (Past President, Post 373 Greencastle, Pa.) and a mournful Son-in-law, My personal thanks for the brotherhood and the dedication to our Nations Veterans that was shown.
    – Jason Statler

  • Letter of Thanks for Commander Wesley C. Herbol Mission

    To the Patriot Guard Riders,
We wanted to mail you a thank you note but could not find an address so the funeral home suggested we email you. We would like to thank you so much for the escort, plaque, pin and 21 gun salute for my husband retired CMDR Wesley C. Herbol. It was a moving tribute to him and provided great comfort to our family at this difficult time. The Patriot Guard Riders are true American heroes who provide a much needed service to all of us when we suffer loss. Thank you. Dorothea A Herbol and family

I apologize for not being here sooner and thanking all that posted on that mission or attended, but that ceremony for my grandfather was my first experience with the Patriot Guard.

I served as he did in the USN as a builder in the Seabees (Construction) from 00 to 05. Years after that I ended up moving back to Southern California south of where my home port was stationed and I became involved with the American Legion and the VFW as I got back into riding bikes a few years earlier. I helped out the PGR in numerous rides and missions and every one of them gave me a sense of pride to be able to just give back that last little bit at the end of a heroes time and to show their family the respect that they deserve for their sacrifices.

Again, I wanted to give my late thanks to all who posted or attended that ceremony for my grandfathers passing.
