——————————————————————————————————————–
The Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania have lost one of our own, US Army Veteran and PGR Ride Captain PFC Nathan (Buck) Jacoby has passed, Buck served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War with the 269th Ordinance Detachment.
Buck loved Cycling, both with and without an engine, he peddled his way from Maine to Florida to raise money for St. Jude’s. He proudly rode with The Dallas American Legion Riders raising money for veteran services as well as various charities. Buck also rode with the Pennsylvania Patriot Guard Riders where he served as a Ride Captain for many missions honoring those that have served, and our first responders. If you spoke with Buck on any mission, you were instantly drawn to his kind and gentle nature, the type of person you would want as a friend.
A Memorial Ride for Nathan will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024. The family asks those who would like to be involved, (motorcycles and cars) to gather at the Dallas American Legion, 2974 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA 18612 at 11:00 AM.
