Mickey “Mixster” Finn

  • Mickey “Mixster” Finn

  • From Mike Vogt

“It is my sad duty to report that Mickey “Mixster” Finn passed away Tuesday morning after a long illness. Mickey was instrumental in forming the PGR in the early days and was our key man in central PA serving as SRC for region 3. Mickey was a Vietnam veteran and retired PSP who lived a life of service. Mickey had an uncanny way of being a strong leader while also being a funny affable guy. We did many missions together and Mickey was a close friend.”

    From Mixster’s Obituary: https://www.jamesmaneval.com/obituary/RobertMickey-Finn
After High School Mickey entered into the United States Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. Directly after his time in the service he joined the Pennsylvania State police as a trooper and was stationed in the York and Bellefonte and then retired out of Montoursville barracks.

Mickey was a member of the Young Men’s Republican Club, VFW Post 7863 in Duboistown, The American Legion, 40 & 8 and the 911 Memorial Ride committee.
