In Memoriam:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand to honor one of our own, Gerry V. Pawlowski. Gerry was a friend and a mentor to those that knew him in the PGR. Dedicated to honoring and remembering our veterans and first responders with his loving wife at his side. In his younger years, Gerry was a Detective Sergeant for Northampton Township Police Department, he was the assistant chief of Richboro Fire Company and Chief of Trevose Heights Rescue Squad. He was a 50 Year member of Newtown Masonic Lodge #427 and Doylestown Chapter # 26. Gerry had a strong passion for Motorcycles. He was a member of the Deer Lake Hog Harley Owners Group (HOG), the Schuylkill Co. Motorcycle Club where he had served as a president for 5 years. Also he was part of the Schuylkill County Motorcycle Drill Team where he said he learned aggressive, defensive riding skills. Gerry joined the Patriot Guard Riders to pay tribute to veterans and first responders. For the last several years, Gerry held the position of Assistant State Captain of the Patriot Guard Riders – Pennsylvania East. He was a leader of men and always wanted to bring out the best in everyone. He was a mentor.
Gerry is a true patriot who stood with the Patriot Guard for hundreds of missions, served his community, and inspired so many. Now it is our turn to carry on a legacy of respect for one who honored so many, now it is our turn to stand and honor him.
