Why I joined the Patriot Guard Riders:
I left work one day in April I believe it was the 28th in 2008 and a few hours later got a phone call that a coworker from electrician side of maintenance was killed while a repair was being done on my machine. When we showed up for his funeral on our motorcycles, cycles were there that we didn’t recognize. Turns out it was a Patriot Guard Rider‘s. I’ve been a member since that very day. In 1973 my senior year in high school I tested for the Air Force but for the physical. My story is they were taken army guys that day. The PATRIOT GUARD has become my part in serving the country now, by honoring our heroes.
