I apologize for not being here sooner and thanking all that posted on that mission or attended, but that ceremony for my grandfather was my first experience with the Patriot Guard.
I served as he did in the USN as a builder in the Seabees (Construction) from 00 to 05. Years after that I ended up moving back to Southern California south of where my home port was stationed and I became involved with the American Legion and the VFW as I got back into riding bikes a few years earlier. I helped out the PGR in numerous rides and missions and every one of them gave me a sense of pride to be able to just give back that last little bit at the end of a heroes time and to show their family the respect that they deserve for their sacrifices.
Again, I wanted to give my late thanks to all who posted or attended that ceremony for my grandfathers passing.
