Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania were asked by the Patriot Guard Riders of West Virginia to assist with the honoring of US Marine Timothy Noel Gunnery Sergeant and a Master Blaster in Explosive Ordnance Devices (EOD) retired after 20 years of service. When called, he worked with the Navy Seals. US Marine Gunnery Sergeant Timothy Noel received numerous medals including the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Achievement Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with six stars, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 1960 Device, Navy Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal with five stars, Certificate of Commendation, Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm and Frame, Meritorious Unit Citation, Letter of Appreciation, Sharpshooter Rifle and Pistol Expert Badges x5 and numerous Meritorious Mast.
