United States Marine Corps. Cpl. Franklin Wharton Jr. enlisted into service June 11, 1942 and was Honorably Discharged March 19, 1946. During his service Cpl. Wharton Jr. served his country in the Central Pacific Area December 26, 1944 to January 26, 1946, Participated in the Okinawa Campaign Third Fleet Operations, Occupation of Yokosuka, Japan. Earning himself a degree as an electrician and Good Conduct Medal. United States Marine Corps Cpl. Franklin Wharton Jr. Stood for us, now it is our time to stand for him.
