The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Martin “Marty” Karl Henneman , a U.S. Army veteran, Law Enforcement Officer (Retired) and First Responder to stand in silent honor by Flag Line for his service and escort in procession for the interment.

Marty enlisted in the U.S. Army July of 1985, last duty assignment with the 284th Military Police Company, having served overseas in Germany and honorably discharged July of 1987 with the rank of Specialist (SP4).

Decorations include the Army Achievement Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

Following time served in the U.S. Army, October of 1992 Marty enlisted to the State Police Academy and graduated in 1993 with the 100th Class. Marty’s first assignment, Troop C, Mt. Jewett Station with the Patrol Unit.In April of 2000, Marty was assigned to the Punxsutawney Station to the Fire Marshal Unit. March of 2003, assigned to Kane Station and promoted to Corporal, Patrol Unit Supervisor. December of. 2005, assigned as the Crime Unit Supervisor at Kane. September of 2014, promoted to Sergeant and reassigned to Troop H in Chambersburg as the Patrol Section Supervisor and January of 2015, assigned to the Punxsutawney Headquarters as the Staff Services Section Supervisor.

Marty’s final assignment, in April of 2015 to Kane as the Station Commander and served until he retired the 6th of May of 2016.

Marty was also the Chief Deputy Coroner of McKean County, Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford teaching Criminal Justice, Former President and Member of the Seneca Law Enforcement Association (SLEA) and Owner and Operator of IOA Consulting, LLC which provided training for Self-Protection and Private Investigative Services.
Marty served our country and his community with honor, it’s now our turn to stand in honor for him.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.

Before heading out please check the weather, dress accordingly and bring your 3×5 handheld American Flags.

If you do not have an American flag and you would like to stand with us in our Flag Line, all who are present are welcome to join, please stand in silent honor between those who have American Flags.
