The family of Khamphou Ngondara has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand to honor his service to our nation at his funeral service, escort, and interment ceremony Tuesday, August 23. Khamphou joined the US Army in combat during the Vietnam War. When the war ended, he remained in country to run covert ops for the CIA. The government finally extracted him and his family in 1976. His son served in the Army, and his son-in-law is an active duty Lt. Colonel in the USAF.
Following a visitation at the funeral home, we will escort him to St. Joseph’s for a funeral mass. Following the mass, we will escort to Susquehanna Memorial Gardens where he will be interred with full military honors. Khamphou Ngondara is a patriot who served his adopted country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.

Hi – Just wanted to let you know that I showed up for the mission this morning (8-23) in York to be told that the family cancelled last evening. On the up side it was a beautiful early morning 60 mile ride.
