The family of Patriot Guard Rider Karen L. Marcks has requested that we stand to honor one of our own at her funeral and interment Friday, September 9. Karen’s husband, Richard “Ripley” Marcks, is a former Pennsylvania State Captain and PGR Regional State Captain. Karen was by Ripley’s side as they helped make the PGR PA what it is today. She stood line at well over 100 missions. Her dedication to the PGR and to our country’s military was an inspiration to us all; she will be greatly missed. Besides the PGR, Karen was also a member of the American Legion Riders, and the Riff Raff Riders.
Karen is a patriot who stood for many other patriots; now it’s our privilege to stand and honor her.
