The family of Army Vietnam War Veteran Joseph Kish, Jr. has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service and sacrifice to our nation at his interment ceremony Friday, May 20. Joe served from 1969 to 1971, receiving multiple decorations including the bronze star. Joe was a life member of the VFW Post 8282 in Breinigsville and served as both Jr. Vice Commander, and Certified Service Officer where he was instrumental in getting benefits for other veterans. A long time friend of Region 5 RC Ed “the Grunt” Goehring, Joe stood many flag lines with the PGR.
The PGR will escort Joe and his family to IGNC for interment. Joseph Kish, Jr. was a patriot who served his country with honor. Now it is our turn to stand to honor him.
