The Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania have been invited by the family of John Michael Vargo, a U.S Navy veteran, to stand in silent honor for the service then escort to the cemetery for the interment.
John entered the U.S. Navy June of 1967, aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid, also known as “The Fighting I ” during Vietnam and was honorably discharged March of 1971, with the rank of Petty Officer Third Class.
Decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/ 2 Campaign Stars and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ Device.
John served our country with honor, it’s now our turn to stand in honor for him.
