The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of John Eugene Thompson, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, to stand in silent honor for his service.

John served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam era from December of 1963 then transferred to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves June of 1967 and was honorably discharged September of 1969.

John received the Good Conduct Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

John served our country with honor, it’s now our turn to honor him.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.

Before heading out please watch the weather, dress accordingly, bring your 3×5 American handheld flags and have your masks available. Also, once on the road, be aware and alert of your surroundings.
