The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate by unloading wreaths for our fallen who paid the ultimate sacrifice. REMEMBER, HONOR & TEACH
In 2014, Wreaths Across America and national network of volunteers laid over 700,000 memorial wreaths at 1,000 locations in the United States and beyond. They were able to include ceremonies at the Pearl Harbor Memorial, as well as Bunker Hill, Valley Forge and the sites if the September 11 tragedies. They accomplished this with help from 2047 fundraising groups, corporate contributions, and donations of trucking, shipping, and thousands of helping hands. The goal of covering Arlington National Cemetery was accomplished in 2014 with the placement of 226,525 wreaths.
There will be two trucks delivering wreaths this year. As of 11/27/15 there are a total of 6,788 wreaths. The cut off is 11/30/15 so we should have a final number in a couple days. (Last year the wreath count was 5,553).
