Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate with Honor, Dignity and Respect for our veterans by standing in a Flag Line for this service.

Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919 to commemorate the end of World War I (major hostilities formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918). The day became an annual observance in 1926 and Nov. 11 became a national holiday in 1938.
