Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand a Flag Line to honor the service of US Navy Aviation Machinist’s Mate (Reciprocating Mechanic) ADR Petty Officer 3rd Class Donald Jay Fretz, Korean War Veteran. Mr. Fretz enlisted in the US Navy Reserve as a minor July 21,1948 and was honorably discharged September 8,1951. One day later on September 9,1951 Mr. Fretz re-enlisted in the United States Navy to be honorably discharged a second time on October 15,1959 During his time-of-service Mr. Fretz was a Aircrewman on a S2F Aircraft and VS-661 Naval Reserve Aviation Anti-Submarine Squadron. US Navy Aviation Machinist’s Mate (Reciprocating Mechanic) 3rd Class Petty Officer Donald Jay Fretz served his country proudly for 12 years. It is now our time to stand for him.
