The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested by the family of U S Navy Retired Master Chief Gas Turbine System Technician Leroy Francis Rothrauff who served 8 years in the United States Navy before retiring. During his time of service for his country 2 months and 13 days were served at sea. During his time Rothrauff earned Navy Unit Commendation, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation, Civil Action Medal with First Class Color with Palm, 5th Good Conduct Award for period ending 84 April 28, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars, Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Expeditionary Medal. Master Chief Rothrauff enjoyed seeing many countries and shore duty stations in the United States.
