The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked by the family to stand a Flag Line and escort the remains to National Cemetery of the Alleghenies of United States Marine Corps Cpl. John Andrew Stromple, Vietnam Veteran. During US Marines Corps Cpl. Stromple’s service to his country he earned a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal. After serving his country he continued to service his community and his beloved US Marine Corps, He was an active member of American Legion Post 793 in Cecil, Pennsylvania, the Marine Corps League of Washing County, Pennsylvania, a former member of the Zelienople and Lyndora Vol. Fire Departments, Zelienople Lions Club, Stromple was also the founder of Pennsylvania’s first Leo Club.
