The daughter of Pvt Emerson Lee Clopper, Jr. has requested our presence to attend the interment of her father at IGNC on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 10:00 am. She will be the only attendee that will be there and asked if we could attend as well to set up a flag line and stand so her father has some friends to be there for him. PVT CLopper served on the ground in the Vietnam War, joining the Army in 1956 and discharged 1958. The last two years of his life he was in a veterans facility in a wheelchair and preferred not to talk about the war. He asked his daughter to take his ashes on a ride on a Harley which she was able to do. He worked several small jobs such as working at the York Fair operating rides, he had a food cart at one time, drove trucks and delivered newspapers. HIs one wish was to be buried at a National Cemetery.
Emerson is a true American patriot who honored his country so now it is our turn to show him the honor and respect he so deserves.

DO NOT PROCEED TO COMMITTAL SITE WITHOUT PERMISSION.
NOTE: Concealed carry permits are NOT recognized on military installations and federal reservations. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery is a federal reservation. Do not bring weapons or hazardous materials to this mission,
