On September 26, 2017, the Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to escort Hero’s Rock to fallen Air Force SSGT Peter Taub family’s residence. Air Force SSGT Peter Taub was killed in Afghanistan on 12/21/15 by a suicide bomber.
Hero’s Rock is a non-profit organization that builds rocking horses for the children of our fallen heroes. The rockers represent their father’s favorite animal (polar bear) and will show examples of his favorite hobbies and favorite candy and each have an etched portrait of their father at their level. So, they will always remember the things their father loved.
The Patriot Guard Riders will provide an escort and assist in the delivery of the tribute rockers to the two children.
