We received a very gracious thank you note from Mr. Rudisill’s family. Here it is:

Dear Patriot Guard Riders of PA,

Words cannot express my gratitude for all of the men who helped to honor my grandfather, Harold Rudisill. In my eyes, he was the most admirable man I will ever know. His character was one of strength, love, dedication and kindness. He lived each day by being generous yet humble, and he found joy in making others smile. None of you knew this man’s personally yet all of you gave your time to honor this Brother of Service, and that truly melts my heart. My family and I all appreciate the way you helped dignify this man we all adore. Your dedication reminds us of the goodness in this world and in our country. We also appreciate all of the sympathy and thoughts that so many shared on the mission posting. We will never forget the way in which Patriot Guard Riders helped to honor Harold Rusisill, and we will forever be grateful. With sincere gratitude . . . From the bottom of our hearts . . . Thank You
