The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand to honor one of our own. Gerry V. Pawlowski. Gerry was a friend and a mentor to those that knew him in the PGR. Dedicated to honoring and remembering our veterans and first responders with his loving wife at his side.
In his younger years, Gerry was a Detective Sergeant for Northampton Township Police Department, he was the assistant chief of Richboro Fire Company and Chief of Trevose Heights Rescue Squad. He was a 50 Year member of Newtown Masonic Lodge #427 and Doylestown Chapter # 26.
Gerry had a strong passion for Motorcycles. He was a member of the Deer Lake Hog Harley Owners Group (HOG), the Schuylkill Co. Motorcycle Club where he had served as a president for 5 years. And the Schuylkill County Motorcycle Drill Team where he said he learned aggressive, defensive riding skills.
Gerry joined the Patriot Guard Riders to pay tribute to veterans and first responders. And for the last several years held the position of Assistant State Captain of the Patriot Guard Riders of Eastern Pa. He was a leader of men and always wanted to bring out the best in everyone. He was a mentor.
Gerry V. Pawlowski is a true patriot who stood with the Patriot Guard for hundreds of missions, served his community, and inspired so many. Now it is our turn to carry on a legacy of respect for one who honored so many.
Now it is our turn to stand and honor him.

We have lost a good man with Gerry. His ever present smile will surely be missed. Thank you Gerry for giving me the push I needed to do more. I am in your debt. Forever Ride Free.

Gerry was deeply committed to his family and extended framily. I truly believe his love for LEO/First Responders, our military men & women made him a perfect candidate for his position as Assistant State Captain. His actions and leadership garnered respect through out membership. His 3 years as our Assistant State Captain-East made a HUGE impact to many who stood the flagline with him, to those who he lead, to those he encouraged to take a demanding position within our organization.
The loss of Gerry will be felt for a very long time. His presence will be missed in our flaglines. Gerry’s insight to things that could be done for our Honor Missions was invaluable. When a tough decision came up, he dealt with it in the most professional manner.
Please keep Joyce and Gerry’s entire family in your thoughts and prayers.
Patriot Guard Riders-Pennsylvania Assistant State Captain Gerry V Pawlowski’s service and sacrifices will not be forgotten. He IS a “TRUE AMERICAN HERO”. May he Forever Rest in Peace. May the memories of our friend and leader give you peace, comfort, and strength through the rest of your days. It is always difficult when we lose one of our own.
Stand down, Detective Sergeant Pawlowski, your mission is now complete. Rest easy, brave Officer, we now have the watch!
