The family of US Navy World War II Veteran George S. Iceman has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his funeral, escort, and interment Saturday, June 30th. George served from 1943 until 1946 aboard the battleship USS Alabama in the South Pacific. George later served in the Army National Guard from 1950 until 1952. Following a funeral service in Lebanon, we will escort George to Grand View Memorial Park for interment with full military honors. George Iceman is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
