Gary Lee Lyle

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Gary Lee Lyle, a U.S. Air Force veteran, to stand in silent honor by Flag Line at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies for the interment then Escort from the shelter to the Columbarium.
Gary enlisted in the United States Air Force September of 1975, assigned to the 495 Fighter Squadron (USAFE) as Aircrew Life Support and spent two years in Altus,Oklahoma before he was honorably discharged with the rank of Senior Airman (E-4) in Lakenheath, England April of 1979.
Gary enjoyed teaching egress and survival skills to flight crews in the U.S. Air Force and continued to share knowledge and skills with Boy Scouts of America.
Decorations include the Good Conduct Medal.
Gary served our country with honor, it’s now our turn to stand in honor him.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.
Remember that the National Cemetery is a Federal Reservation and NO WEAPONS are permitted.
Also, Before heading out please watch the weather, dress accordingly and bring your 3 X 5 hand held American flags.
If you do not have an American flag and you would like to stand with us in our Flag Line, all who are present are welcome to join, please stand in silent honor between those who have American flags.
