The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Fred A. White, a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, to stand in silent honor by Flag Line at Christ Church at Grove Farm in Sewickley.Fred leaves behind a legacy of deep love of country through 23 years of military service in the U.S. Army. Fred was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division and later in the Defense Intelligence Agency where he spent the majority of his service assigned to locations in France, Vietnam, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand. Fred achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2 and was awarded the Legion of Merit and multiple Bronze Stars.After retiring with his family in Pittsburg, Fred became heavily involved in his community and later through Christ Church at Grove Farm immersed himself in missionary work in Uganda. Fred served our country with honor, it’s now our turn to stand and honor him.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of a mission. PGR sets no time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our Heroes appreciate your time.
Also, before heading out please watch the weather and dress accordingly. Bring your 3 x 5 hand held American flag if you have one.
